"Lights of Bahia in Black and White: Portraying the Local People" Hello! I'm Marcelo Aniello, and I would like to share with you my photography series titled "Lights of Bahia in Black and White." In this collection, I aimed to capture the essence of the local people in the interior of the Bahia's Recôncavo region in a unique and compelling way. By choosing black and white, I sought to convey a nostalgic and timeless feeling, highlighting the expressions, emotions, and details that make up the essence of this place. Each image captures the uniqueness and richness of the culture, traditions, and everyday life of the Bahian people. While exploring the interior of Bahia's Recôncavo, I had the opportunity to photograph cultural events, such as a samba de roda celebration. Through black and white, I captured the rhythm of dance steps, the expressions of the musicians, and the joy evident on the faces of the participants, immortalizing the intensity of this cultural moment.
