After a long bus ride, a hike in pitch darkness, and a ride down a dark river in China on a small rickety old raft just big enough for two and powered by an old lawnmower engine, my friend Rick and I reached the spot where we would photograph these three amazing old fishermen and their fish-diving Cormorant birds. By the time we got in place and set up our tripods, the sun would be up soon, but it was still dark enough for the fisherman to light their lamps.
