Fashion is on the streets! Wedding in Matera Matera is the city where my mother was born, where I spent part of my childhood summers. At that time nobody went to visit "I Sassi", they were all for me! Now, the massification of tourism has also arrived in those places and there are many who go to Matera to get married. Last summer, however, my sister got married in Matera; a real return to origins for the whole family. Equipped with a fish-eye lens, I went looking for images that portray the salient features of a wedding in southern Italy in today's times... ...tourists mix with guests, the new with the old, the modern with the vintage revisited, in a phantasmagorical coming and going of "plastic paintings"
