The Venice Carnevale - easily one of the world's most beautiful festivals, characterised by the Venetian masks and their outrageous costumes. However, the Carnevale is not all about masks. The local Italians prefer painted faces and/ or historical costumes to full masks. Most of the full masked costumers are actually participants from neighbouring countries of France, Belgium, Austria and Germany etc. This series deals more with the locals, most who come in their traditional/ historical costumes rather than fully masked.
