I was at the St. Andrews Lock and Dam in Lockport, Manitoba, practicing hand-held ICM. While focusing on the water gushing out of the locks of the St. Andrews Dam, I noticed this pelican screaming across the water. Without thinking and while keeping my eye in the eyepiece, (I still can't believe I did this), I adjusted my focus point, to the right, onto the pelican and kept it there all the while I was following it. This resulted in both a horizontal and vertical slow-shutter speed ICM while maintaining focus on the pelican. A once in a lifetime shot.
