This self-portrait symbolizes my inability to express myself creatively due to chronic injury and the resulting pain in both my arms. I created the picture in the studio, then printed it out, froze it in the freezer and re-photographed. The ice is meant to symbolize my stifled creativity, a “creative frost”.
