Since March 2022, Ukrainian communities have been stagnated by the atrocities of Russian military invading the country with deadly missiles, artillery and bullets. Such merciless attacks have caused irreversible impacts on the Ukrainian livelihood, killing tens of thousands of adults and children and those who were enlisted to fight back, injuring countless innocent, damaging enormous amount of properties and devastating metal health of the population. From massive bombing in Borodyanka and murder of civilians in Bucha and Irpin, to fierce fights between the two Ukrainian and Russian forces in Kharkiv, Donbass and Kherson, signs of atrocities, trample on the humanity and disruption to law and order could be seen across each and every part of the country. Between March and August 2022 and in October the same year, the 22-year-old Asian photographer travelled across war-scarred cities, towns, villages and the frontline to document how the Russian invasion has caused significant impacts on the livelihood of the Eastern European country, and how freedom loving Ukrainians withstood the devastation through unity, togetherness, resilience, love and supports of the international community. It's always the spirits of Ukrainians that helped them through quagmires and crisis in life.
