I'm currently working on a long-term project, travelling Indonesia and photographing some of their many people and their culture(s). This particular photo was taken for this project in Bali. Just like any other society, Bali is also struggeling to keep its traditions and arts alive. Most of their customs and art require a lot of dedication and daily motivation, but sadly, the younger generations often prefer spending their time differently. The idea behind this photo was to create a juxtaposition of lived Balinese art and a society that couldn't care less about it.
