Originally constructed in 1190 as a fortress, the Louvre has evolved through centuries, shaped by varying styles and the whims of royalty. Today, it stands not only as a repository of iconic art—spanning paintings, sculptures, and other artistic treasures—but also as a beacon for photographers worldwide. This particular photograph was captured during the early morning blue hour, a quiet moment when the palace was still closed. Fortuitously, one gate had been inadvertently left open, allowing me an exclusive entry. From this rare vantage point, I captured the Louvre's majestic architecture along with its geometrically intriguing pathways, flanked by water and pyramids. The tranquility of the scene was briefly interrupted when security noticed my presence, leading to a swift eviction, but not before I secured this stunning image that beautifully marries the palace’s grandeur with its serene, structured surroundings.
