Nestled on the foothills of the Monts of Vaucluse and facing the Luberon, Gordes stands as one of the most iconic hilltop villages in the region and indeed, one of the most beautiful in France. The village's white stone houses and buildings are almost an extension of the mountain's sharp cliff, merging naturally with the rugged landscape. Gordes has long been a magnet for artists, drawn by its scenic beauty and tranquil charm, contributing to its fame. Perhaps I, too, have added to its artistic heritage with my photography. This image captures the village at sunrise, the light casting a warm glow over Gordes, with a tree elegantly framing the scene, enhancing its picturesque beauty.
