Happy Hamerkop , Zimanga, South Africa. These Hamerkops have a great silhouette. So everytime I get the chance to photograph one of them , I hope he is in a backlight situation. That was also what I was hoping for when I saw him moving around in these long grasses and reeds . It was a fantastic moment when he started bathing. I chose for black and white to accentuate the movement .
