Bringing the World Together

This was my first Northern Lights viewing. It was directly overhead at the border to the United States and Canada in Western Washington State. Normally this area doesn't quite get to see auroras. 10 May 2024 was a special event seen around the world. Below are my feelings about the event. Bringing the World Together A shared experience. A common thread. For one night, people around the world were fortunate to witness celestial magic high above. A cosmic reminder: that life is a gift; that we are so small; living under one sky. This planet - more powerful than we could ever imagine. A connection of what we can be. More alike than different. Drawn together. Through our shared human experience, we are connected. Take care of our planet. Look after one another.
