Grido - Xolivo

The Xolivo photographic project is a visual ode dedicated to the ancient olive groves of the Salento region, where the trees, bearers of thousands of years of history, stand as silent witnesses to the passing of the centuries. In this artistic journey, I intend to explore the hidden vitality of these olive trees, their stormy scars and the hope that underlines each bare branch. Inspiration comes from careful observation of the olive groves, where the gnarled trunks tell timeless stories and the twisted arches of wrinkled wood carry the weight of ancient wisdom. Photography becomes a form of emotional storytelling, capturing not only the aesthetics but also the intrinsic emotions that lurk between the branches. Through a visual exploration of this iconic landscape, I intend to reveal the poetry of the olive trees that seem to whisper an appeal for help or hope.
