This photo was taken during the photographer's brief trip from Madrid to Córdoba. Unbeknown to him, the medieval festival of Córdoba was occurring that same weekend. As he explored the city he crossed paths with the parade where he spotted the subject of this image. The subject and his feathered companion were captured displaying the fierceness they both exuded to the surrounding Spanish crowds.
