Summer is a wonderful time to photograph Vestrahorn in East Iceland. The sun rises and sets directly behind the mountain at this time of the year, and it is windless more often than at other times of the year, so there is a very good chance of a reflection in the shallow water of the lagoon. In fact, this was the first time in a week that an interesting sunset showed up
