On my recent trip to the Niederhorn in the Bernese Oberland, I hoped to meet adult ibexes with impressive horns. I also thought that the goats might already have young. I didn't meet any bucks, nor were there any newborns - this represents the compromise, so to speak: yearlings who still have a few excess strength...
