Flowers - Expressions and Impressions

The idea was to capture expressions of flowers in nature that leave a certain impression on the viewer. Each photograph expresses a different emotion, telling a deeper story and offering an inspiring view of something the eye of a passerby usually takes for granted. I chose simple, common flowers because they actually are something the eye of a passerby usually takes for granted. In this way, the impact of the object's expression on the observer's impression will be biggest. Often, we, (nature) photographers search the most beautiful, stunning objects/landscapes to capture, things that already leave a big impression on the common viewer anyway. With this project, I wanted to start from a negligible object (a simple flower along the side of the road) and to capture its expression as unique as possible, to still leave a big impression on the viewer. The goal of this project is to inspire people with the following thoughts: 'Magic is hidden, but it does exist. You can find it even in the smallest and most negligible things. Nature is one of the sources from which magic arises.' and 'Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.' In daily life you can apply it as: 'Make the best from all the moments you get, even from the smallest or most negligible. Be inspired and amazed, and be thankful for what is there, even if it is very obvious, because you will miss it if it is gone.' As a piano composer and artist, I get a lot of inspiration from nature, when creating new songs. I also want to express an emotion with my music, telling a story. That's another reason for this project, because I will use these pictures as future artworks for my new songs, to give my audience a beautiful sound and inspiring visuals.
