With their pride's gathering of rambunctious lion cubs below, several lionesses climbed high up a Serengeti kopje and were observed resting. This lioness ascended highest of all, gaining the best of the evening's breezes and a vantage point from which she could survey the landscape for kilometres. With her engagement on the vehicles below, and her informal body position, she appeared quite spirited.
