"Inside Out" is designed to offer a deep and nuanced perspective on the far-reaching effects of climate change, illustrating how it impacts not just our external environment, but also the innermost spaces of our lives. This project delves into the ways in which the evolving climate penetrates our homes, turning what we consider our safest and most intimate sanctuaries into spaces influenced and altered by the forces of nature. One of the central ideas explored in "Inside Out" is that nature operates without regard for the boundaries we believe protect us. It pushes into our personal spaces with an unstoppable force, challenging our perceptions of security within our own homes. Despite the comfort and protection that our four walls are supposed to provide, climate change demonstrates that no place is truly impervious to its reach. This project invites readers and participants to engage with the complex and often subtle ways in which climate change intertwines with our daily lives and personal environments. It encourages a thoughtful exploration of how our living spaces, once considered solely under our control, are becoming battlegrounds where the global shifts in climate play out on a deeply personal level. By examining these interconnections, "Inside Out" seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the vulnerability of our personal environments to external forces. It highlights the reality that the transformations occurring on a global scale do not stop at our doorsteps but continue inward, affecting our most cherished and private spaces. The project is a call to acknowledge and address the intimate ways in which climate change affects us, urging a reconsideration of what safety and security mean in an era of environmental upheaval. Through this lens, "Inside Out" not only raises awareness of the global climate crisis but also underscores the importance of adapting our personal spaces to withstand and mitigate these profound changes.
