This monochrome portrait of an Indian elephant captures profound melancholy. The stark black and white emphasizes its wisdom and quiet dignity, while revealing an undeniable undercurrent of sorrow. I aimed to highlight the intricate textures and the poignant expression in its eye. This visual elegy invites viewers to connect with the sentient being within this magnificent creature.
