In Tubbataha Marine Sanctuary, near the ranger station green turtle numbers are soaring due to being given protection by the ranger's and an area shallow enough to shield from the looming tiger shark predation as the tide fills the deeper areas of the Atoll. This turtle is in it's element and I love the stillness just as it stirs up the sand beneath before heading to the surface for a quick breath, before returning to munch lazily on the seagrass tufts below.
