Rembrandt and his dramatic use of light and shadow are my inspiration for this image. A chiaroscuro effect that gives an atmosphere of mystery has long been my photographic style; I like the accentuated shadow to give depth to the image. So I tried to make the image almost like a pictorial painting by making a post-production in Photoshop and adding a canvas effect. I hope I succeeded in my intent.
