I am a Gagauz woman from Moldova, and through my work I strive to preserve the culture of my people. In this photograph, I portray young women from my region dressed in designer clothing inspired by traditional Gagauz motifs. By blending past and present, textures and symbols, I explore our identity and the way it continues to live today. The use of light painting adds a sense of quiet magic — as if the ancient spirit of our culture reveals itself through light once more. This image is my contribution to preserving the heritage of Gagauzia and honoring our roots.
