This is a minimalist fine art piece captured on Polaroid film, exploring the concept of duality. The paper crane, is a symbol of hope, represents the desire to fly upward; yet, at the same time, it is pulled down by the invisible gravity of reality. While harsh light illuminates the crane, it also projects a dark shadow on the wall. This film captures the feeling I wanted to convey: embracing hope while being pulled by reality, possessing a physical form while also projecting another silhouette. This opposition and coexistence of duality mirrors my choice of Polaroid film, an instant record that becomes a lasting and tangible object.
