Country / Region:
Two human figures stand on the frozen surface of a lake, connected by a single stretch of black fabric. Their bodies move in opposite directions, creating tension between closeness and separation, dependence and freedom. The frozen landscape becomes an empty emotional space where human relationships are reduced to gesture, movement and silent resistance. The connection between the figures appears fragile, yet impossible to break — like memory, attachment or emotional dependence carried through time. Minimal in form and monochromatic in expression, the photograph explores the invisible forces that bind people together even when they attempt to walk away from one another.
