“Against the Snow” captures a rare moment within a snowstorm, where the falling snow both reveals and erases at the same time. The storm settles onto the tree, clinging to its trunk and branches, tracing its form with a quiet precision. At the same time, the snowfall softens the distance, dissolving the background into near absence. It is this fragile balance - between definition and disappearance - that shapes the image.
