During the blue hour shortly after sunset, a tranquil tarn in Hakatere Conservation Park. The still water creates a mirror reflection of the landscape. Golden tussock-covered hills rise behind the tarn, leading the eye toward mountain peaks partially veiled by soft clouds. On the horizon, a subtle yellow glow lingers from the setting sun, illuminating the farthest ranges and adding warmth to the cool tones of the evening.
