Flash of Trees For 15 years, my work has illustrated the Tree in its environment, in its setting, whether in the region where I live: Normandy, or during my travels in France or abroad. My approach is primarily "aesthetic." I have come to see it at various times of the day and year, trying to capture the ephemeral effects of Light and Time that make it magical… In those Moments when it attracts me with its beauty and the emotion I feel upon encountering it. The photos, Flash of Trees, all in color, are presented according to the four seasons. This influences the style of the photos, given the characteristics of each season. I frequently use backlighting effects and/or strong contrasts, without neglecting the shapes and colors of the Tree and its environment. For each shot, I strive to find an original composition, to give the background a constructive role, and above all, to play with the lighting surrounding the subject. The photos presented are taken in RAW format and processed with Canon's DPP and/or Photoshop. I hope we will share these moments of beauty, emotion, wandering, and dreaming.
