The Sumida Hokusai Museum in Tokyo is one of the most architecturally impressive buildings I’ve ever seen. Comprised of a stainless-steel exterior, the squarish building is shaped like a cubular “M.” As I do with all interesting buildings, I look up. I then centered myself directly under one of the building’s entrances to capture this symmetrical image of the museum. The monochrome contrasts, and shades of grey and black, create a compelling image. Post production in Lightroom, Photoshop, ON1, and Luminar.
