I captured this long exposure of Boston’s spectacular Zakim Bridge, over the Charles River connecting Boston and Charlestown, almost by accident. I asked the driver to drop us off on the Charleston side at the end of the bridge, as that’s the photograph I thought I wanted to capture. Fortunately, the driver took us to an unplanned location, and walking back toward Boston my wife and I happened upon this spectacular view of the bridge. At ten lanes, it’s one of the world’s widest cable-state bridges. It opened in 2003, spans 1432 feet, and stands as tall as 322 feet. Post processing in Lightroom, Photoshop, ON1, and Luminar.
