Caterpillars are often labeled as "pests" and killed on the spot for merely consuming crops. Yet, from their perspective, they are simply living their lives with everything they have. Watching this small creature earnestly devouring a leaf, I felt a profound, fierce strength within its fragile existence. Their progress is incredibly slow, and in their micro-world, every single movement is fraught with danger. For them, a single step is life-threatening—and because of that, each step is a profound act of engraving their very life into the world.
