Looking over to the Ben Ohau Range in the Southern Alps of New Zealand from the foot of The Big Hill after the first reasonable snowfall of the winter. The sun had recently appeared which had seen most of the cloud dissipate from around the mountains, throwing the detail on the hillsides into sharp relief. Using a long lens, my intention was to show some of the fabulous ridge structure that was now so visible
