There is something really satisfying about imaging majestic mountains with a long lens. True, you don't get to see the entire mountain range, but the payback is the amazing detail and texture that can be enjoyed in these rather more intimate views. For me, the details and texture that are visible at the apex of this mountain are an excellent payback for missing out the rest of the Ben Ohau range
