Photographer's Profile
Gloria V Lane, Italy
Gloria V Lane is a conceptual fine art photographer whose research unfolds at the intersection of image, thought, and time. Her practice approaches photography not as mere representation, but as a perceptual experience, an inner space, and a narrative threshold. From this vision comes Temporism, the artistic language she introduced, in which photography and painterly gesture intersect to generate a new experience of the image. At the heart of this research is a mark inspired by Japanese calligraphy, intervening in the work as a living presence capable of reopening it to time, perception, and contemplation. In her work, time is not simply evoked; it becomes sensitive matter, rhythm, and passage. Her path brings together a humanistic education, photographic studies, and teaching in the field of contemporary art languages. She has exhibited internationally, from China to Los Angeles and New York, bringing forward a distinctive and deeply personal visual poetics. In recent years, her work has received significant international recognition in fine art photography. Her practice continues to redefine photography as a poetic and conceptual language in which the image does not merely capture time, but generates it.
