I am a 27-year-old lawyer from Vilnius, Lithuania. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an architect. This interest in shaping space according to my taste has not disappeared, and now it manifests itself in photographing architecture. I have found that the discipline and attention to detail inherent in the practice of law subconsciously manifest in my photographic work - my photos are characterized by a strict logical composition, a thoughtful relationship between lines and colors, juxtaposition of various forms and structures. Recently, I was thrilled to find out that one of my images - ‘From Fascism to Fendi’ – made it to the shortlist of the European Region in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2024 (note: my maiden name - Ieva Lozuraityte - was still used). I will also be hosting my first solo exhibition in Vilnius this autumn.
