James Malikey is a pianist, composer and artist (24 years old) from Belgium. In his free time, he is a passionate (nature and travel) photographer. He gets a lot of inspiration from nature and experiences in daily life to create new songs. Apart from giving concerts, he is travelling around the world to record video’s with his piano in stunning nature sceneries, but also to take photographs with his Nikon camera to use as an artwork for his new songs or just because he really loves doing it. “Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.” With his photography, he wants to capture the beauty of the universe, but at the same time, he also wants to express an emotion with it, telling a deeper story with his pictures. That’s exactly what he also does with his music. His speciality is to add a magical touch and to offer a different, interesting view to things that the eye takes for granted. His goal is to inspire as many people as possible with his music and photography. With a fusion of them, he can offer the audience a beautiful sound with inspiring visuals.
