Air Bare was launched in August 2020 when it flew its first drone in the tropical skies of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Australia. They are the mother/daughter team of Sarah and Lucy Jenkins, who temporarily moved from Sydney and Melbourne respectively, to escape the global pandemic. Lucy is an architecture graduate from the University of Melbourne who has had the incredible opportunity of working two internships during her degree with world-renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners in London. She was also recently awarded the 2022 Bates Smart Medal Graduate Prize for Outstanding Design. Sarah is an artist, painting in the acrylic medium and finding inspiration from everyday life. They both share a passion for art, architecture, design and photography, and together they create interesting perspectives and unique images using drone technology.
