Stefano Paradiso (Rome, 1969) graduated in Photography from the Roberto Rossellini School of Cinema and Television before beginning his career as a camera operator and later working as a Director of Photography on feature films and television productions, collaborating with Italian and international directors. Alongside his work in cinema, he has developed an independent photo- graphic practice through long-term projects. Combining analogue and digital processes, his work explores transformation, presence and perception through distinct visual languages, from the experimental monochrome of Imago Plantae to the chromatic research of Almost Blue.
