Photographing the Colosseum in Rome from a luxurious perspective offered an unparalleled experience. Nestled in a lavish hotel room equipped with a private elevator, I was greeted by a breathtaking view from the balcony doors of the bedroom, directly overlooking the ancient amphitheater. For a moment, I felt transported back to the era of Roman nobility, who would watch gladiatorial combats from the best seats, high above the arena.
