Anguane – Wood‑Fae Version is a photographic study of female figures from Alpine folklore, reimagined as elusive forest spirits—timeless, rooted, and mysterious. Using long exposure and body movement, I sought to portray beings suspended between visibility and myth. The anguane in this series do not appear clearly—they merge with light, shadow, and undergrowth, forming ghostlike traces in the forest. Their presence is suggested, not declared. Shot in untouched woodland, the images explore the forest as a symbolic threshold—a liminal space where the feminine reclaims its wild, intuitive voice. These anguane do not tell a fairy tale; they recall a forgotten layer of reality, one that still pulses quietly beneath our perception. This work is both a visual and spiritual reflection on presence, nature, and ancestral memory. It invites the viewer to slow down, to see differently, and to sense the subtle life that exists beyond the obvious.
