Intentional camera movement (ICM) is probably one of my favourite photographic genres, mainly because it gives the me the ability and freedom to portray a feeling as well as a scene. In this particular case, life had been being rather difficult and I wanted to be able to produce am image that helped to show how life was feeling. I always set my camera to burst mode when I do ICM images, simply because that allows me to develop a rhythm with my image making and it is that rhythm that I credit with helping to portray feelings. Life did feel very bleak and really quite empty at the time and I believe this image captured those feelings so well.
