From above, the Riotinto landscape unfolds like a series of abstract paintings: rivers of fire, bleeding earth, and surreal textures shaped by time. Yet, beneath this haunting beauty lies a devastating truth. These 5 aerial images reveal a land disfigured by unchecked chemical pollution, where toxic waters carve wounds into the earth and vivid hues mask the scars of destruction. What appears mesmerizing from a distance is, in reality, a testament to exploitation, nature transformed into a canvas of suffering. This portfolio invites the viewer to confront the paradox of beauty born from devastation, urging reflection on the fragile balance between industry and the natural world.
